Play Time!

Back at Theater Exile for our family’s show with the School Free Players. This year we found ourselves writing (ry) and directing (me) and acting (all) and as always, there is electricity. Can you feel it? Opening night: abuzz with all the joys and jitters, chaos and care and the MAGIC that shows up every time!

This Week’s Table (under construction)

Ever live somewhere that doesn’t smell like sawdust and paint with a side of pancakes and coffee? Me either! (and I wouldn’t have it any other way) Our friend Aaron had some old barn wood to share along with a planer so here we are. With rocks to place in the biggest knots and many more projects and meals to come.

letters to ghosts

It’s been awhile since I found you in my dreams
since I heard you in my ear

yet here we are

stories carry waves that shadow time
a clothespin digging into my side
tingling skin and brushing breeze
the geography of ghosts
soft skin of give
the geometry of fit
scratchy timelines
woven lifelines
staggered breath of now
know a different way to go

Was it enough?
What is enough?
