And who can blame her? Last winter, the majority of her meals were enjoyed outside and spring came early. This year, warm weather is taking its good sweet time.

But this kid is persistent.
Luckily, she settled for making cookies and taking them to the park…where there were still ice piles to be found.

It won’t seem funny now, but if you visit Site:Lab this Friday night, I’ll bet you chuckle. And then you can enjoy the work of real print makers, on display for a one-night-only show in conjunction with ArtDowntown. I always say this about Site:Lab, but really- their shows are just not to be missed.

And the first time in their memories that my kids saw me with short hair – the shortest it has ever been.

I am more than 16 inches lighter and pleased with the result. Though I think I’ll be wearing a scarf until spring decides to show.
