a season of play- I don’t know if I was very good at playing as a child; I think I’ve always been a little too serious for my own good. But recently, I went away for a week and I pretty much spent the whole week engrossed in play. I felt very much like myself. I returned to my family noticing how freely my children play, realizing that I could join in the lightness, and wanting to get wrapped up in play. I have spent June playing more, imagining what this might look like etc. And so, July 1 begins a year of focusing on all things playful + play-related.
